If you could say one thing and have it be broadcast through radio, all over the world, what would you say?

I'd say that our current lifestyle on this planet is utterly unsustainable, and that it's only getting exponentially worse. Environmental protection is the number one concern for our species in this age. If we don't get a handle on it we're all going to be doomed and so are the other animals who played no willing part in it. It's probably too late anyway, but we can at least prolong and mitigate the consequences as much as we can.

We *have* to live more modest lifestyles, and just encouraging people to do that isn't enough because it's so tempting to buy such and such product and convenience when everybody else is doing it so it's the norm, and it takes too much discipline to deprive oneself of so much when the difference the individual's efforts make are only a drop in a huge bucket.

The *only* way to do this is is to effect *much* stricter environmental protection laws in all countries, but especially the ones that consume or produce the most. And the only way to do *that* is to get private interests out of bed with the government. There can be *no* avenues for private interests to buy politicians or legislation. There should be no such thing as funding a campaign except for a specific amount alotted by the government, and lobbying should be illegal. There also need to be laws against all sneaky forms of bribery such as recruiting legislators to higher-paying jobs for doing one's bidding.

The more private interests control government, the more they widen the avenues for private interests to control government.. it's spiraling out of control and now with a rich business man as President and rich businessmen filling his cabinet and a republican house and senate, the spiral is escalating -really- fast. The defunding of the EPA and the retracting of internet privacy are just the first couple of symptoms of this.

There are many other important things I could say, but you said one thing, and I count that as one basic thing with sub-points.
